Royal Blood performing live on stage

Royal Blood have announced a warm-up show ahead of their special 10th anniversary gigs this year – find all the details below.

The rock duo confirmed last month that they would be taking to the stage at the O2 Academy Brixton in London this summer to celebrate a decade of their self-titled debut album.

They’ll play two nights at the venue on June 18 and 19 before embarking on a brief run of European dates.

Now, Royal Blood have added an extra concert at the O2 Academy Bournemouth for June 17. The band will be joined by Crawlers, who are scheduled to appear as the support act that evening.

Tickets for the new date go on general sale at 9am BST this Friday (April 12) – you’ll be able to buy yours here. An O2 Priority pre-sale went live at the same time today (10) – visit here to access.

In a statement about the upcoming gigs, Royal Blood said: “Playing these anniversary shows is going to be the ultimate victory lap and feels like the most meaningful way to celebrate the occasion with our incredible fans who have been so loyal to us over the years.

“We’re thrilled to let you know that a very special 10th Anniversary Edition, including live versions, B-sides and unheard material is due to be released too!”

Royal Blood’s 10th anniversary tour dates for 2024 are:

JUNE

18 – O2 Academy Brixton, London
19– O2 Academy Brixton, London

JULY

Royal Blood are set to play further headline shows in the UK and Europe this year, and will open for Queens Of The Stone Age in the US this spring. They’ll perform at Download 2024 in June, with other festival appearances scheduled for Shaky Knees, Benicàssim and more.

The duo released their fourth and most recent studio album, ‘Back To The Water Below’, last September. In a four-star review, NME said that the LP “feels like a return for Royal Blood”.

It added: “Honouring their gut, as [frontman Mike] Kerr said they did in the studio, has manifested fertile results for their band… There’s power in trusting your instincts, and ‘Back To The Water Below’ backs that assertion.”
