NKOTB will release their first new studio album in more than a decade, and support it with a “big” tour.
The Berlin-based music company hopes a partnership with a school in Munich will help get it there.
The company is also veering away from last year’s plan to combine its frontline and catalog divisions, says newly announced president of frontline recordings Jon Loba.
“We are making good on our promise to double down on our U.S. operation with a distinctive new approach,” comments BMG CEO Thomas Coesfeld.
The move comes less than a month after BMG said it would focus on its core recorded music and publishing businesses.
James served as senior vp of promotion and Poole was senior director of A&R.

The independent music company now represents the Newcastle-based artist for both publishing and recordings.
About 40 employees were let go Thursday, including executive vp, global repertoire Fred Casimir and senior vp, global repertoire Jason Hradil.
