When and where to watch ‘Peacemaker’ season two in the UK?

John Cena and Danielle Brooks in 'Peacemaker' season 2

After rebooting the DC Universe with Superman, director James Gunn is bringing John Cena into the fold with Peacemaker season two.

Serving as a continuation of 2021’s The Suicide Squad and Superman, Peacemaker season two picks up as the vigilante hero discovers a parallel world where he can live out the life he wishes he could have, but its discovery forces him to face his traumatic past.

Along with Cena, Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Jennifer Holland, Steve Agee, and Robert Patrick all reprise their roles from the first season. Newcomers to the cast include Frank Grillo, Sol Rodriguez, David Denman, Tim Meadows and Michael Rooker.

After Peacemaker season two, the DCU is set to continue with the TV show Lanterns and Supergirl starring Milly Alcock in 2026.

When does Peacemaker season 2 come out in the UK?

Unlike the first season, Peacemaker season two will be released simultaneously in the US and the UK. The show will air Thursday, August 21 in the US on HBO, and Friday, August 22, 2025 in the UK on Sky Max and NOW.

How many episodes will there be?

The second season will span eight episodes, three of which have been directed by James Gunn. Other directors this season include Greg Mottola (Superbad), Peter Sollett (Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist) and Alethea Jones (High Potential).

Each episode will air weekly from August 21, with the finale slated for October 9, 2025.

Recently, Gunn confirmed the show’s second season will have a different theme song for its opening dance sequence. The first season used ‘Do Ya Wanna Taste It’ by Wig Wam, but the second batch of episodes will see Peacemaker dance to Foxy Shazam’s ‘Oh Lord’.
