Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly surprised Snoop Dogg with an onstage birthday serenade last weekend.

The actors joined the rapper for the Best Night of Your Life 2 benefit show on Saturday (October 21) to perform ‘Boats ‘N Hoes’, the track sung by Dale and Brennan in the 2008 comedy Step Brothers.

They then sang a verse of Snoop’s 1994 track ‘Gin and Juice’, before Reilly took the microphone to make an announcement to the Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre.

“Yesterday was a very special day,” Reilly said, via a video to shared to Snoop’s Instagram, which he captioned: “My brothers surprised me.”

“It was Mr Snoop Dogg’s birthday. We’re about to sing happy birthday to the greatest rapper in the world!” said Reilly.

A cake three-tier cake covered in candles was then wheeled out from backstage by Ferrell, which Snoop used to light a joint.

“That’s what I’m talking about,” Reilly said, as the crowd began singing ‘Happy Birthday’.

Earlier this month, Ferrell was spotted DJing at a frat party in California.

Video clips shared online show the Anchorman star at the decks with college students dancing around him.

In other news from Snoop Dogg, the rapper recently revealed that he’s “fucking scared” of horses, and he doesn’t know why.

In a recently published episode of Snoop Dogg’s Double G News series, Snoop opened up to special guest Tiffany Haddish about his fear of horses after she shared that she once wanted to be a horse farmer.

“I’m scared of horses,” Snoop Dogg said. “To this day, Tiff. I don’t know why I’m just fucking scared of them.”

Elsewhere, Ed Sheeran recently said he once got so high with Snoop Dogg that he couldn’t see.
