SZA surprised fans by bringing out Doja Cat for a performance of their collab hit ‘Kiss Me More’ in Vegas – watch footage of the moment below.

At last night’s (May 31) Allegiant Stadium stop on SZA and Kendrick Lamar’s joint ‘Grand National Tour’, Doja Cat emerged from underneath the stage to join the ‘X’ singer for their Grammy-winning hit ‘Kiss Me More‘, which featured on the ‘Planet Her’ album.

It marks the first time they’ve performed the song together since 2021, when they gave it it’s debut at Billboard Music Awards. Taking to Instagram stories after the performance, SZA shared a clip of the two singing, writing: “First time performing together in sooo long. THANK YOU @dojacat!”

The upbeat pop track went on to win a Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance in 2022, with Doja praising SZA as “the epitome of talent” when accepting the award.

Taking to social media after the show, many fans took note of Doja’s outfit – a mossy textured green dress – which appeared to be a nod to the outfit SZA wore on the ‘SOS Deluxe: Lana‘ album cover.

Last December, she released ‘Lana’, which serves as a deluxe version of her 2022 second LP ‘SOS’. In a four-star review, NME said that “‘Lana’ heralds SZA’s status as a pop girl” but said the project “might have been stronger as a mixtape”.

Meanwhile, SZA and Lamar are set to head to the UK and Europe next month, with this stint including two nights at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Find any remaining tickets here (UK) and here (North America) and find dates below.

SZA appears on Lamar’s latest album, ‘GNX’, and had previously joined the rapper on stage at his huge Super Bowl Halftime Show in February. At the Los Angeles stop on their joint tour last month, she surprised fans with another special guest in Justin Bieber.
