Lorde just revealed a key item she used to write her latest album Virgin, and it’s kind of magical.

The star product? A water bottle. One from Snow Peak to be exact. The “Ribs” singer revealed a few items that helped her write the highly-anticipated album in an interview with Rolling Stone. The Titanium Aurora Bottle bottle is a favorite of Lorde’s, so much so that it stands as her profile picture on Instagram. “It kind of became this talisman of this album,” Lorde joked in her YouTube interview with the magazine. “And I like how kinda dinged up it is. I keep dropping it.”

The songstress bought the bottle back in 2023, thanks to her love of anodized metal, a process that entails coating the surface of the metal to enhance its durability. The bottle has been in her rotation ever since. “It has a magical quality to me..it reminds me of my first iPod,” she elaborated. Here’s how to shop Lorde’s coveted Snow Peak water bottle.

Titanium Aurora Bottle

A titanium bottle in rainbow hues.

This titanium Lorde-approved gem currently retails for $184.95. The Titanium Aurora bottle comes in an array of colorways, including a yellow and monochrome purple hue, but the singer’s favorite is their rainbow-esque ombre anodized finish. Pure titanium, like this bottle, keeps your beverages free from harmful substances that might leech into the drink otherwise. In fact, titanium is the safest metal to eat and drink from.

The drinking vessel was designed in Japan and made of ultra-light and durable 1mm thick titanium. The cap is black, made of silicone and rubber, nestled into the bottle cleanly. The top is also equipped with a handle for ease of use. Whether you’re drinking good old H2O or tea, the capacity for this bad boy is 27 fl oz, a hefty amount. “It’s like my magic wand or something,” Lorde joked.
