Wildish went country for her take on the pop icon’s classic track, using her acoustic guitar, swooping high notes and lush vocal runs to differentiate it from the original, euro dance-inspired track.

“Do you believe in life after love?/ I can feel something inside me say/ I really don’t think you’re strong enough, no/ Do you believe in life after love?/ I can feel something inside me say/ I really don’t think you’re strong enough, no,” she sang on the chorus.

The Team Niall contestant garnered a full applause from the audience and her coach, as well as a standing ovation from John Legend and Reba McEntire.

Wildish’s cover of “Believe” comes on the heels of Cher’s Believe (Deluxe Edition), the 25th anniversary re-release of the album on Nov. 3. The track, which has been hailed for its use of a vocoder machine (now referred to as Auto-Tune), spent four weeks at No. 1 and a total of 31 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The track is Cher’s most successful on the chart to date.
