Welcome back to Billboard News. I’m Tetris Kelly, and it’s Wednesday May 24. We’ve got to talk about my girl Taylor because so many other people are. Taylor gets Ice Spice on a track and gets a thank you from Stevie Nicks. And Joe Jonas updates us on how he, Tay and the Swifties are doing. Taylor jumped on socials to announce a remix of the ‘Midnights’ track ‘Karma’ featuring Ice Spice, noting, “I’m a massive fan of this brilliant artist and after getting to know her I can confirm she is the one to watch.” The track is out tomorrow along with a Till Dawn edition of ‘Midnights’ featuring more Lana Del Rey and a new track.

Stevie Nicks 0:55
Thank you to Taylor Swift for doing this for me — and that is writing a song called ‘You’re On Your Own Kid.’

Tetris Kelly 1:08
Stevie Nicks spoke at a concert on how Taylor’s ‘Midnights’ track ‘You’re On Your Own Kid’ helped her process the death of bandmate Christine McVie.

Stevie Nicks 1:17
When it was the two of us, the two of us were on our own, kids. We always were. And now I’m having to learn to be on my own kid by myself. So you helped me to do that.

Tetris Kelly 1:29
In other Tay news, Joe Jonas is talking about his relationship with the superstar and her fans after formerly dating her. “I’m cool with Taylor,” Jonas told Dax Shepard’s ‘Armchair Expert’ podcast. “We’re cool.” He added of her very loyal fanbase: “I hope to think they liked me. No one f***s with the Swifties, you know,”. Oh, I know Joe. I am one, and you’re cool with us. Now let’s talk about some music competition shows. ‘The Voice’ and ‘Idol’ just ended and their next seasons could look pretty different.

Carson Daly 2:02
The winner of season 23 of the voice is Gina Miles!

Tetris Kelly 2:07
Gina Miles may have won ‘The Voice’ for team Niall Horan and Iam Tongi may have won ‘American Idol,’ but it’s the judges’ panels that really have viewers talking.

Tetris Kelly 2:24
Blake Shelton said goodbye to ‘The Voice’ after 23 seasons with a heartfelt tribute with his mentors over the years, but who’s coming back next season? Season 23 winning coach Niall Horan is returning and will be joined by returning judges John Legend and Blake’s wife Gwen Stefani. Replacing Blake for 24 is country music legend Reba McEntire.

Reba McEntire 2:48
To be able to come in and form my team. I’m so looking forward to it.

Tetris Kelly 2:54
Over on ‘American Idol’ Katy Perry would love to shake things up on the judges panel because it comes with its challenges

Katy Perry 3:01
Probably being a woman and having a strong opinion.

Tetris Kelly 3:03
But she has a solution for the testosterone overload.

Katy Perry 3:06
This is an invitation from me, Katy Perry: Lizzo, I’m asking you to join the panel. I could really use some bold, honest hot takes.

Tetris Kelly 3:16
She told BuzzFeed she would love to share judging duties with Lizzo. Onto the story that has the Internet divided: BTS is used to breaking records, but this time it’s being challenged. J-Hope says “Hi” from the army and SUGA breaks touring records. Here’s today’s BTS news. After unleashing his solo album ‘Jack in the Box’ and a hot collab with J. Cole, BTS’ J-Hope has entered his mandatory military service in South Korea. He shared pics that the ARMY are dying over and a caption saying, “ARMYs I finished it well. I was able to complete training well because of the letters of support you sent me were very helpful. Will do my best for the rest of my military service and show you my best. I love you.” We love you too. And ARMY also showed a lot of love to SUGA. Under his Agust D persona, it’s being reported that he’s the first rapper to earn over $3 million in a single arena concert in US history. He joins the likes of Lizzo and Travis Scott, as Twitter continues its reoccurring debate on who it considers to be a rapper.

From K-pop to K-rock. I caught up with LØREN back in Austin and played a little rapid fire game to learn a little more about the rocker

Tetris Kelly 4;38
I do want to play a game with you, it’d be really easy. I’m just going to say a sentence and you finish it with the first thought that comes to your head as quick as possible. Alright?

LØREN 4:45
Alright.

Tetris Kelly 4:45
My favorite late night snack is

Tetris Kelly 4:54
If I wasn’t a singer, I would be…

LØREN 4:56
A tattooist.

Tetris Kelly 4:57
Have you ever done one of your own tattoos?

LØREN 5:00
I actually have a really close tattooist, and you know I give her like a really bad picture of what I want and she just kind of like refines it you know? And so we kind of go back and forth and she’s like, What do you think about this angle? What do you think about the size? And then we just kind of put it together.

Tetris Kelly 5:13
The most famous person that follows me on IG is…

LØREN 5:16
I think Somi from the Black Label. I think

LØREN 5:26

Tetris Kelly 5:54
Before I let you go, Goyo is killing the Latin music game and if you don’t know her here’s five things about the artist.

Goyo 6:01

Tetris Kelly 7:27
That’s it for today. Come back tomorrow for my interview with Lauren Jauregui and we talk about one of my favorite topics Disney. I’m Tetris Kelly and this is Billboard News.
