‘Severance’ and ‘The Penguin’ lead 2025 Emmy nominations
The nominations for the 2025 Emmys have been announced, and Severance and The Penguin have received the most each. Check out the full list of nominees below.

Apple TV+’s Severance boasts 27 nominations, while HBO’s The Penguin has 24. The top five is rounded off with The Studio and The White Lotus (23 apiece) and The Last Of Us (16).
Among the big names battling it out to win the top prizes for acting are Harrison Ford – earning his first Emmy nomination aged 83 – Quinta Brunson, Jeremy Allen White, and Britt Lower.
The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards honour the best in American prime time TV from June 1, 2024 to May 31, 2025. The ceremony is set to be held on September 14 at Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater. CBS and Paramount+ are set to air the ceremony, with comedian Nate Bargatze hosting.
Actors Harvey Guillén and Brenda Song announced the nominees at the Television Academy’s Wolf Theatre, also in Los Angeles, earlier today (July 15).
