The singer-songwriter, who shot to fame after bagging second place at Eurovision 2022, will take to the stage at the OVO Arena Wembley on Thursday November 6.
“I saw my first ever gig at Wembley Arena, it was Sum 41 and I was crammed right in the back wondering if I’d ever get to jump around on stage like those legends,” Ryder said in a statement.
“Twenty-two years later, here we are, and it still doesn’t feel real! We’re stoked to put together an insane show for you, and so thankful that the road from that first gig led here.”
Tickets go on general sale at 10am BST next Friday (May 9) – you’ll be able to buy yours here. Alternatively, you can find pre-sale information via Ticketmaster.
Last month saw Ryder kick off his next era with a soulful single titled ‘White Lies’. Upon its release, it was revealed that the artist had relocated to Nashville, where he signed with the independent label Artist Theory.
The follow-up to his 2022 debut album ‘There’s Nothing but Space, Man!’ is yet to be announced. In the London show announcement post, Ryder confirmed a “new album coming later this year”. See it above.
‘White Lies’ was co-written by Ryder alongside Nick Lobel (Beyonce, Miley Cyrus, Harry Styles).
Speaking about the track and his new era recently, he explained: “I needed to feel grounded again so I moved away from the major label system, took some of the deepest breaths of my life, and have been in Nashville working on the music I’ve always dreamed of making.
“So ‘White Lies’ felt right as the first single from this new project – to be totally honest in confronting the rollercoaster of a journey the last few years has taken me on. I’ve never felt so sure of who I am as an artist and I’m so proud of this new music, I can’t wait for you all to hear it.”
Ryder is set to make his debut appearance at Glastonbury Festival this June, where he’ll perform on the Avalon Stage. He’ll also support McFly at Dreamland Margate this summer, among other dates.
His North American headline tour begins next month – with shows scheduled in New York, Chicago, Toronto, Nashville and Los Angeles.
