K-pop girl group Odd Eye Circle, also known as a sub-unit of LOONA, have released the music video for ‘Air Force One’.

Odd Eye Circle’s new Jersey club song, titled ‘Air Force One’, was released on July 12 at 12am KST. The song is named after the iconic Nike Air Force One sneakers.

The clip opens with the trio – Jinsoul, Choerry and Kim Lip – stepping out of a van and into an empty parking garage, dressed in striking black-and-white outfits and eye patches. The girl group then enter a lavish dining room, where they perform the catchy song.

“(Da-ra, da-ra, da-da-da, da-da, da-da) step by step boy / (Da-ra, da-ra, da-da-da, da-da, da-da) tell me your voice / The endless line / In this moment, just let go,” they sing on the chorus.

The song appears on the girl group’s new mini-album ‘Version Up’, which features five other tracks. Notably, ‘Air Force One’ features lyrics written by member Kim Lip, along with Modhaus founder Jaden Jeong.

Other notable credits on ‘Version Up’ include tripleS‘ Sohyun on ‘Je Ne Sais Quoi’, as well as frequent LOONA collaborator G-high on half of the project’s tracks. ‘Version Up’ will be released later today at 6pm KST.

The new mini-album comes shortly after Jinsoul, Kim Lip and Choerry, along with fellow LOONA member Heejin, joined Modhaus. The four K-pop idols had secured injunctions to terminate their Blockberry Creative contracts in January 2023.

The return of Odd Eye Circle will also be the first release under the moniker ARTMS. In an exclusive interview with NME, Jeong had spoken about how ARTMS, or the “Artemis Strategy”, would be how the agency refers to the “action and activities” of Heejin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul and Choerry. However, at the time he also said that the quartet “will continue the identity of LOONA”.

In other LOONA news, members Hyunjin and Vivi have signed with a new agency called CTDENM, which is reportedly headed by former Blockberry Creative director Yoon Do-yeon. The news came four months after the two idols had filed injunctions to suspend their contracts with agency Blockberry Creative.
