As previously announced, Lenny Kravitz (a four-time Grammy winner) is also set to perform on the show and receive the Music Icon Award. Adam Sandler will receive the People’s Icon Award. The show, hosted by actor Simu Liu, will be held at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

The award for Minogue follows the release in September of her 16th studio album, Tension. “Padam Padam” reached No. 7 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart and No. 8 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart.

Bell Bottom Blues, Wilson’s fourth studio album, reached No. 9 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. When it won the Grammy, it became the ninth album – and just the second by a female solo artist – to take the “triple crown” of country music – an album award at the Grammys and album of the year at both the ACM Awards and the CMA Awards.

Wilson has won seven CMA Awards in the last two years, including entertainer of the year in November. She won entertainer of the year just one year after winning new artist of the year. That was the fastest climb from the new artist award to the top prize since Garth Brooks made that leap in one year more than 30 years ago. He won the horizon award (as the new artist award was then called) in 1990 and entertainer of the year for the first time in 1991.

Wilson is nominated for two 2024 People’s Choice Awards – female artist of the year and female country artist of the year.

The People’s Choice Awards are produced by Den of Thieves. Jesse Ignjatovic, Evan Prager and Barb Bialkowski will executive produce.
