Jazmine Sullivan, The Roots & More to Headline Blue Note Jazz Festival’s Black Radio Experience

The Blue Note Jazz Festival’s Black Radio Experience will be returning to California this summer, and the lineup is stacked.

On Tuesday (May 6), The festival unveiled its 2025 lineup, which includes headlining performances from Jazmine Sullivan, The Roots and a third mystery headliner that has yet to be announced. Additionally, the fest will of course include performances from Artist in Residence Robert Glasper, who founded The Black Radio Experience and hosts the legendary weekend.

Additional performers will include Lupe Fiasco, Big Daddy Kane, Willow, Saba, Hiatus Kaiyote, Esperanza Spalding, Little Brother and more. Additional acts are will be announced at a later date.

“Black Radio Experience and Robtober are the platforms I use to bring all my favorite artists and
collaborators together as one big family reunion and this year is no different!” Glasper said in a statement. “I’m honored to be part of such an amazing community and bring that community back together for another dope weekend in Napa.”

The Blue Note Jazz Festival kicked off in New York back in 2011, with its Napa edition starting in 2022 with curation by Robert Glasper. Past headliners included John Legend, NAS, Mary J Blige, Chance the Rapper, Maxwell, Jill Scott and more. In 2024 the Napa festival was presented as a landmark spin-off with The Black Radio Experience, in association with Glasper at the Meritage Hotel.

The festival will go down August 29 – 31 at Napa’s Meritage Resort and Spa. Fan presales begin on Wednesday, May 7 at 9 A.M. PT/12 P.M. ET. General on sale begins Friday, May 9 at 9 A.M. PT/12 P.M. ET. 3-Day Festival passes and more information can be found at the festival’s website here.
