iKON add new shows to 2023 ‘Take Off’ world tour

K-pop boyband iKON have added a new date to their 2023 ‘Take Off’ world tour.

On July 20, tour organiser Leo Presents announced the dates and venues for the US leg of iKON’s ongoing 2023 ‘Take Off’ world tour. On September 5, the boyband will kick things off at New York City’s Kings Theatre, before heading to Atlanta, Chicago and more.

iKON will also play Dallas and Denver on September 11 and 14, respectively, before wrapping up their US tour in Los Angeles at the Shrine Auditorium on the 16th. According to Leo Presents, the upcoming tour will be the boyband’s “first USA appearance after 4 years”.

On August 31, the K-pop boyband added a new date to the Asia leg of their ‘Take Off world tour’. This November, the group will play a show at Tennis Indoor Senayan in Jakarta, Indonesia.

iKON parted ways with longtime agency YG Entertainment in late-December 2022. At the time, YG Entertainment announced that the agency and group had “mutually agreed” to end iKON’s exclusive contract, following a “long and careful discussion” with the group’s members. The group signed with 143 Entertainment the following month.
