South Park has kicked off its new season with one of its most-talked about episodes ever.
Created by Matt Stone and Trey Parker, the long-running animated series made headlines once again with the season 27 premiere Sermon On The ‘Mount, which targets President Donald Trump in ruthless fashion.

In the episode, Cartman is enraged after one of his favourite shows is cancelled by the government, as PC Principal brings Jesus back to school.
The episode debuted on July 23, 2025, just a few days after Parker and Stone agreed to a new five-year deal with Paramount+ over the streaming rights.

Every episode of South Park is available to stream through Paramount+, which can be found through Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV+.
When does the next episode come out?
New episodes will air on Comedy Central in the US on Wednesdays at 10pm ET. They will be released worldwide on Paramount+ a day later.
According to reports, the show’s 27th season will feature ten episodes in total.
The latest season of South Park, which was originally set to air from July 9, was delayed due to contract negotiations between the show’s creators and Paramount. Matt Stone and Trey Parker struck a five-year deal with the network several weeks later, which was reportedly worth $1.5 billion (£1.1 billion).
Along with getting the streaming rights for all 26 previous seasons, 50 new episodes will debut on Paramount+ starting from season 27.
