Apple TV+ has reunited Seth Rogan and Physical‘s Rose Byrne with Neighbors writer and director Nicholas Stroller in the new comedy series Platonic. While the Neighbors movie and sequel had Rogan and Byrne playing husband and wife, this time, the duo star as platonic estranged besties who rekindle their chaotic and co-dependent friendship.

The series premieres on Wednesday (May 24), with new episodes dropping every Wednesday on Apple TV+. Taking inspiration from the timeless romcom When Sally Met Harry, the show attempts to answer that age old question: Can men and women really be just friends? The answer this time around is yes, as Byrne and Rogan have a strictly platonic relationship (hence the show name).

As the two millennials are struck with midlife crises — one being a bored stay-at-home mom who feels her own house has outgrown her, while the other is a recently divorced brewmaster who can’t seem to grow up — they reconnect and go on spontaneous adventures that are hilarious yet destructive.
