Hayley Williams joins Remi Wolf as a surprise guest for Bonnaroo SuperJam event

Hayley Williams made a surprise appearance at Remi Wolf’s Bonnaroo SuperJam show. Check out footage of the gig below.

The event took place following the news that festival organisers were forced to scrap the 2025 instalment due to severe weather. In a statement shared on Friday (June 13), attendees were asked to evacuate as the weather forecast was showing unsustainable conditions for on-site campers.

While it was too late to reschedule any of the planned appearances, the organisers were able to go ahead with their SuperJam tradition – which sees a number of artists come together for a one-off cover show.

This year, it took place at the Brooklyn Bowl Nashville on Saturday (15), and was hosted by Remi Wolf.

Guests included Paramore singer Hayley Williams, as well as Mt. Joy, Grace Bowers, Gigi Perez, and Grouplove. Together they broke out covers of songs from the likes of The Doobie Brothers, Fleetwood Mac, Bee Gees, David Bowie and Sly And The Family Stone.

Williams joined Remi Wolf for two songs from Chaka Khan’s band Rufus: ‘Tell Me Something Good’ and ‘Sweet Thing’. The cover of the former also comes after Wolf covered it for Jack Antonoff’s Ally Coalition Talent Show in 2024.

The Paramore singer then returned for the star-studded finale on the night, which saw all of the artists take to the stage for a rendition of Earth, Wind & Fire’s hit single ‘September’.

Before the festival was cancelled, it kicked off Thursday (June 12) with performances from Luke Combs, Rebecca Black and more.

Friday night’s headliners were scheduled to be Tyler, The Creator, John Summit and Glass Animals; Saturday’s line-up was led by Olivia Rodrigo, Avril Lavigne and Justice, and Sunday would have wrapped up with Hozier, Vampire Weekend and Queens of the Stone Age.

As for Hayley Williams news, last week it was shared that she will be working with David Byrne as part of his new album ‘Who Is The Sky?’. It is also set to feature St. Vincent and The Smile drummer Tom Skinner, and has already been previewed by the lead single ‘Everybody Laughs’.

It follows Byrne covering Paramore’s ‘Hard Times’ for Record Store Day last year, and Williams covering ‘Burning Down The House’ on the recent tribute album for ‘Stop Making Sense’ and its anniversary.

Elsewhere, Williams joined Turnstile on stage for ‘Seein’ Stars’ at New York City’s Under The K Bridge Park, and teamed up with Moses Sumney on the steamy new single, ‘I Like It I Like It’.
