Future & Metro Boomin Drop ‘We Don’t Trust You’ Joint Album: Stream It Now

Future and Metro Boomin finally dropped their long-awaited joint album We Don’t Trust You on Friday (March 22).

We Don’t Trust You plays off Metro’s notorious “If Young Metro don’t trust you, I’m gon’ shoot you” producer tag that Future originally said in their 2015 track “Right Now” with Uncle Murda. Since then, the tag went on to be popularized in tracks like Drake and Future’s “Jumpman” and Ye (formerly known as Kanye West)’s “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1.”

The project comes after Metro’s Grammy-nominated Heroes & Villains album — which features Future on four tracks like “Superhero” and “Too Many Nights” — and Future’s I Never Liked You. Both 2022 albums topped the Billboard 200. The producer-rapper duo have made several hits together over the years, like 2016’s “Wicked” and 2017’s “Mask Off,” the latter of which peaked at No. 5 on the Hot 100 and earned a nine-times platinum status in the U.S.

And since Metro Boomin always want some more, he and Future are already preparing to give fans another joint album in just three weeks on April 12.

After their co-headlining stint at Rolling Loud California at Inglewood, Calif.’s Hollywood Park last weekend — where Travis Scott performed the LP’s previously teased “Cinderella” track — Future and Metro will be back at it for Lollapalooza at Chicago, Ill.’s Grant Park this August. Additional headliners include SZA, Tyler, The Creator, blink-182, The Killers, Hozier, Stray Kids, Melanie Martinez and Skrillex.
