“How dare y’all try to judge my man about his weight and his character,” the rapper told the camera. “This man is winning awards for his music. This man’s music has given a lot of people hope.”

“On a personal note, Jelly Roll is one of the nicest, one of the absolute nicest men on the planet,” he continued. “A lot of people would love to be like Jelly Roll. All y’all trying to judge my boy Jelly Roll, I think y’all need to take a step back and judge yourself.”

Posting the clip on X, Flav captioned the clip: “Y’all gone and bullied one of THE NICEST people off social media ,,, so I felts the need to standup for my man JellyRoll. That man does so much for people and communities through his music and activism ,,, Luv me some @JellyRoll615 and Bunnie”

The “Shake Your Booty” artist’s response comes two days after Bunnie XO, who is married to Jelly Roll, shared on TikTok that her husband had left social media “because he is so tired of being bullied about his f–king weight.”

“That makes me want to cry, because he is the sweetest angel baby,” the podcast host continued in the clip. “My husband doesn’t show it to you guys, but I’m going to have a very vulnerable moment here. It hurts him.”
