TikTok influencer Eva Evans has died aged 29.

It was confirmed by Evans’ sister via Instagram on Sunday (April 21) that the online personality had died.

The post, which was made to her sister’s account, read: “Yesterday my family received news that our sweet, fabulous, creative, caring, hilarious Eva, my beautiful sister, has died.”

Evans’ sister, Lila, did not reveal the cause of her death, but added: “After 24 hours, I still find myself in a constant cycle of denial and acceptance, so I know how unbelievable and hard to process this news will be.”

Lila informed fans and supporters of Evans, who had more than 300,000 followers on TikTok, that a memorial service would be taking place on Tuesday (April 23).

She wrote: “We will be holding a celebration of Eva this coming Tuesday, 4/23, in the evening in lower Manhattan.”

She continued in the post: “I wish I had Eva here now to refer to because she would have better words and know how to say what I don’t.”

She concluded with letting her followers know that they’ll “be hearing a lot more from me on how much Eva means to me and just how different the world will be without her,” but explained that she would keep her post “brief” so that “we can plan for the next few days”.

Just four days ago, the online star shared a post to her Instagram page, which has now been flooded with comments by grieving fans and supporters.

Evans also posted to her TikTok page last week, reacting to JoJo Siwa’s recent viral track, ‘Karma’. Actor Julia Fox commented on the video writing: “I will miss you so much I love you so much”.

Evans was known for creating and starring in the Amazon Prime Video series Club Rat, which tells the story of an influencer attempting to re-enter the dating scene after a video of her breakup goes viral online.
