Eslabon Armado & Peso Pluma’s ‘Ella Baila Sola’ Dances Into No. 1 Spot on Regional Mexican Airplay

Following a four-fold win across Billboard charts, Eslabon Armado and Peso Pluma’s “Ella Baila Sola” finds the No. 1 spot on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart as it jumps 2-1 to lead the May 27-dated ranking. The single ousts Los Angeles Azules’ “Tú y Tú,” with Cazzu and Santa Fe Klan, after the latter’s one-week command.

“Ella Baila Sola’s” new win trails successes on four other charts, starting with the multi-metric Hot Latin Songs chart, where the song holds strong at No. 1 in its seventh straight week after it ascended 2-1 on the chart dated April 15. The song also extends to its nine-week reign on Latin Streaming Songs and its third-week coronation on the Billboard Global 200 ranking. Plus, “Ella Baila” ruled Latin Digital Song Sales for three weeks.

According to Luminate, “Ella Baila” hits No. 1 on Regional Mexican Airplay with 7.3 million in audience impressions, a 2% gain, earned in the U.S. in the week ending May 18.

Peso Pluma claims his first Regional Mexican Airplay No. 1 with his first chart visit, as he reached the chart (dated May 6) when “Ella” debuted at No. 7. He has also placed a No. 19 high with “Chanel” with Becky G.

Eslabon Armado, meanwhile, captures its second Regional Mexican champ, after the one-week coronation with “Te Encontré,” with Ulices Chaidez, in June 2021.

Beyond its Regional Mexican Airplay coronation, “Ella” takes home the Greatest Gainer/Airplay trophy on Hot Latin Songs thanks to its audience gain across regional Mexican stations. Further, despite a 1% dip in streams during the tracking week, the song earned 32 million official on-demand streams in the U.S., enough to hold the No. 1 place on Latin Streaming Songs, while falls 2-3 on the overall Streaming Songs list.

“Ella” also makes progress on Latin Airplay where it pushes from No. 7 to its No. 4 high. Meanwhile, it decreases 4-5 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 chart.
