Diablo 4 is coming out later this year, and will have a final open beta period before it launches. This open beta will give all players another chance to try out the game’s Prologue and Act 1 chapters, offering up a hefty chunk of gameplay. Hopefully, this will allow you to make up your mind as to whether you’re going to be picking up Diablo 4 in June.

The upcoming Diablo 4 open beta is similar to the ones that ran back in April, allowing players to level up a character to level 20. There’s some exclusive rewards you’ll get for participating, but it’s worth noting that progress will not carry over into the main game.

Here’s when Diablo 4’s open beta is available, and what the dates are for the Open trial periods. We’ll also detail what’s available in the beta, and some of the rewards that are up for grabs this time around.

The Diablo 4 open beta will allow players to experience the game’s Prologue and Act 1 sections. This includes a variety of main missions and side content, all the way up to a character level of 20. Progress will not carry over into the full game, but even so, this is a great way to try out the first chunk of Diablo 4 before it launches on June 6, 2023.

Additionally, your progress from previous trial periods and betas will not carry over here. Legendary loot spawn rates have been adjusted to reflect those found in the full launch, and certain bug fixes and updates will be available since the game last went live.

Those who want to earn some exclusive rewards can complete the following tasks:

  • Defeat Ashava with one Level 20 character – Cry of Ashava Mount Trophy
  • Reach Kyovashad with one character – Initial Casualty Title
  • Reach Level 20 on one character – Early Voyager Title
  • Reach Level 20 on one character – Beta Wolf Pack Cosmetic Item

These items will be available to you when Diablo 4 launches in June. If you already earned them in previous beta periods, you will not need to unlock them again here.

How to download The Diablo 4 Server Slam beta

The final Diablo 4 beta will be available for all to download. Just head to the store on the platform that you play on, and look for Diablo 4 – Server Slam. This download will be available May 10 at 12pm PDT. This is an open beta, so you will not need an access code. You also won’t need a PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription to join in.
