Ready for the Renaissance Tour? Where to Buy Beyoncé’s Disco Cowboy Hat

Need something to wear to the Renaissance Tour? Beyoncé wants the BeyHive to dress up in “fabulous silver fashions” in celebration of Virgo season.
“Virgo season is upon us,” Bey wrote in a message posted to her website on Tuesday (Aug. 22). “This tour has been such a joy and as we approach the last month, my birthday wish is to celebrate with you wearing your most fabulous silver fashions to the shows 8/23-9/22! We’ll surround ourselves in a shimmering human disco ball each night. Everybody mirroring each other’s joy. Virgo season together. The House of Change. See you there! Your B at RWT.”
The North American leg of Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour kicked off in Toronto in early July. The tour will touch down in Glendale, Ariz., on Aug. 24, followed by Las Vegas and Santa Clara, Calif.
Beyoncé will perform three nights at Sofi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., including a birthday show on Sept. 4.
And if there’s one must-have accessory for the tour, it’s a sparkly cowboy hat like the one Queen Bey wore to announce the tour back in February.
Bey’s stylist bought the disco cowboy hat from an Etsy shop owned by Abby Misbin last summer. Misbin’s shop, TrendingByAbby, has been slammed with orders ever since the hat made its tour-poster debut.
“I had no clue whether it was gonna be used,” Misbin told The Cut in February. “I was thinking, ‘She’s gonna look at the hat and not like it.’ I was just refreshing my phone and hoping for the best. I didn’t see it when her album art got released. She’s wearing a cowboy hat, but not my cowboy hat, which was the biggest bummer. And then the tour poster came out, and she was wearing it.”
After the tour poster dropped, Misbin “replied to like 50 tweets” to get people to notice that Beyoncé was wearing her hat. And it worked.
“I sold out once one very popular Twitter account posted it,” Misbin said. “My friend messaged them about my shop, and they said, ‘That’s awesome, we love that it’s a small business, we’ll promote it right away.’ The tour poster dropped at 8 or 9 a.m., and by 11 a.m., I was sold out. Everyone wants to wear them to the tour.”
Misbin received around “75 orders” in the first day and had close to 500 people on the waiting list at the time of the interview. The hats are currently sold out, but according to a message on her Etsy shop, Misbin is determined to get them out to fans. “I’m committed to bringing each and every one [of] you lovely people a beautiful disco ball hat!”
Between Beyoncé and hit shows such as Yellowstone, the cowboy aesthetic and coastal cowgirl aesthetic keeps getting hotter as the trends have racked up more than 140 million views on TikTok. Whether you’re heading to see Bey perform live, hitting up a musical festival, or another must-see tour (or all three, if you’re lucky), a cowboy hat will certainly come in handy.
