Tweedy will release his new 30-track album this September, with an extensive run of tour dates set to accompany its arrival.
The band's fifth album arrived in June 2004, and will receive a deluxe treatment in 2025 featuring more than 60 previously-unreleased recordings.
Also debuting in the top 10: Slipknot, Denzel Curry, Tyler Childers, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Sammy Hagar & The Circle, Bjork and a $180 17-CD Grateful Dead boxed set.
