Revealed at Stream On, the feature is designed to remedy the "disconnect between where music is being teased and where music is actually being streamed."
Artists can now opt in through the Spotify for Artists tool, the platform announced during its Stream On event.
The new mobile homepage is a swipeable, video-based interactive feed that will automatically play previews of music, podcasts and audiobooks for users.
