"As long as you are going to be creative, and as long as you let your mind work, you don't have to retire," Wonder told the BBC's Sidetracked podcast.
"Truth is, shortly after my birth, I became blind," Wonder told a Cardiff crowd recently.
The singer-songwriter-producer's first full-length pays homage to immaculate recordings from the late 1970s and early 1980s.
