Almost five years after first announcing the book, Evan Dando will release his long-awaited memoir this fall.
Backed by a cover of Townes Van Zandt's "Sad Cinderella," the track will appear on forthcoming LP Love Chant.
Proceeds from the March 29 will be donated to L.A. homeless shelter and services provider The Midnight Mission.
The collaborative single appears on Marlon Williams' Te Whare Tīwekaweka, an album recorded entirely in the indigenous New Zealand Māori language.
