The Atlanta rapper/producer started chants of "We're not going back!" and "VP Harris!" as he made his way across Chicago's United Center.
"Be fortunate, y'all, for Kamala Harris," Common told the crowd.
"They’re incredibly powerful women," he shared.
The singer also called the event "a great and inspirational, quintessentially American moment."
The icon has long supported Democratic causes.
Guyton & Isbell both made their DNC debuts on Monday night, while James Taylor's planned performance was cut for time.
