A paparazzo and photo agency dropped two cases that accused the pop singer of violating copyright law by posting unlicensed pictures of herself to Instagram and X.
The singer and music producer joins the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa in being sued for including allegedly unlicensed paparazzi pictures in social media posts.
A photographer and licensing agency claim Lopez posted the pictures on Instagram and X for "self-promotion" without paying for copyright permission.
Paparazzo Nichol Lechmanik says the alleged altercation caused her "great mental, and emotional pain and suffering."
Photographer Robert Barbera had claimed that Cyrus reposted his 2020 image without a license or permission.
