"I was dealing with PTSD and all different kinds of grief and depression and anxiety," the singer recalled.
"I am so sorry I caused pain. Especially the LGBTQIA community, because you guys are treasures," Jewel says.

The singer described how "things started working" as soon as she stopped taking herself too seriously.

The program will include mentoring and two-day immersive programs, as well as online curriculums.
