At the halfway point of 2025, REPUBLIC has surged back into the lead thanks to another huge Morgan Wallen hit, while Interscope stayed strong and Atlantic grew again.
Interscope is one of only two labels to have claimed the top three simultaneously in the last 30 years.
“We treated it like an album rollout, not just as a single,” says Interscope's Adrian Amodeo.
“It’s always critical, but especially so given the nature of this particular album, to get the chronology right for each moment," says Interscope Geffen A&M's Jason Sangerman.
Interscope veterans Steve Berman and Annie Lee take on C-Suite roles in the new configuration, with Capitol CFO Geoff Harris retaining his role as well.
The deal includes Gabito Ballesteros and other CT artists, though Cano remains signed to Rancho Humilde.
The música mexicana artist joins a roster that includes other Latin acts such as Karol G, Kali Uchis and Bad Gyal.
The promotions elevate several of the label's longtime top executives with new titles to reflect their stature within the company.
The Latin superstar will release music under her own label, Bichota Records, that will be distributed by Interscope, according to a source familiar with the deal.
Platt will have the opportunity to sign and develop talent for a new imprint.
