On Saturday (May 6), Saul “Canelo” Alvarez will defend his undisputed middleweight title against contender John Ryder in one of the year’s most anticipated boxing matches.

The pay-per-view bout is scheduled to take place at Akron Stadium in Alvarez’s hometown of Guadalajara, Mexico, and will be the boxer’s first match in his hometown in 12 years.

Alvarez, 32, is favored over Ryder, 34, with a 94 percent probability of winning the match, Forbes reports. Both men are evenly matched in height (5′ 9″) and reach (70 inches) but differ in fight stats. Alvarez’s record stands at 58 wins (39 KOs), two losses and two draws. Ryder, a London native, has secured 32 wins and five losses (18 KOs).
