Antony Szmierek, Idlewild, Inspiral Carpets lead second wave of artists for Rockaway Beach 2026 line-up
Antony Szmierek, Idlewild, Inspiral Carpets and more have joined the second wave of artists playing Rockaway Beach 2026.
The first wave of acts were announced at the end of last March, with Public Image Ltd., Dry Cleaning and The Moonlandingz leading the line-up. The festival will be held from 2-5 January, 2026, at Butlin’s in Bognor Regis, West Sussex.
Now, a fresh batch of names have been revealed for the festival, with Manchester’s Antony Szmierek and Inspiral Carpets to appear in January. Scotland’s Idlewild will also join the line-up alongside Insecure Men featuring Fat White Family‘s Saul Adamczewski.
chest., GANS, Humour, Prima Queen, Swallowtail, Voka Gentle, Winter Gardens and DJ Steve Lamacq are also set to play Rockaway Beach.
Take a look at the full lineup below – tickets, including three-day festival passes and accommodation packages, are available here.
NME reviewed Szmierek’s debut album ‘Service Station At The End Of The Universe’ when it landed earlier this year. In a four-star review, we wrote that the record “isn’t the mark of an artist finding his sound, but a confident, authentic trailblazer who knows his craft inside out.”
Meanwhile, Idlewild will soon embark on a UK tour kicking off in October. Starting at Newcastle’s Boiler Shop on October 10, they will travel to Bristol’s O2 Academy, London’s KOKO, Manchester’s New Century Hall and more. They’ll then wrap up with a show at Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom on December 7. See all dates here and get your tickets here.
Finally, Prima Queen are set to support The Maccabees at their huge All Points East reunion show. Taking place on August 24 in Victoria Park, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Cribs, Dry Cleaning, Nilüfer Yanya, The Murder Capital and Divorce have also been announced to join the lineup.
