Mariah Carey announces new album ‘Here For It All’

Mariah Carey has announced her new album, ‘Here For It All’ – find out more below.

The ‘We Belong Together’ singer announced the long-awaited record yesterday on social media. The album is due for release on September 26 – you can pre-order and pre-save the record here.

In the lead-up to the announcement, Carey had been teasing the album under the moniker ‘MC16’. The announcement video for ‘Here For It All’ also includes an a cappella snippet of its title track – check it out below.

Ahead of the album’s reveal, she released the single ‘Type Dangerous’ in early June. ‘Type Dangerous’ marked Mariah Carey’s first solo release since 2019’s standalone song ‘In The Mix’.

Over the weekend, Carey teased another track off ‘Here For It All’, seemingly titled ‘Sugar Sweet’. In a snippet, she sings: “I’m-a keep it nice/I’m-a keep it neat/I’m-a keep it sugar/I’m-a keep it sweet.”

Further details surrounding ‘Here For It All’, including its track listing and features list, have yet to be announced. Stay tuned to NME for more updates.

This summer, Mariah Carey will play a huge show at the Royal Sandringham Estate in Norfolk alongside Eternal and Nile Rodgers & Chic. It goes down on August 15, and you can find any remaining tickets here.

In February, she was nominated for the Class Of 2025 Hall Of Fame, but was snubbed alongside Oasis, Phish, Joy Division/New Order and more when the inductees were confirmed in April.

Mariah Carey’s last album was 2018’s ‘Caution’. Since then, she’s released the standalone single ‘In The Mix’, and has collaborated with the likes of Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson, Busta Rhymes and more.
