Which New Music Release of the Week Is Your Favorite? Vote!

This week, Rihanna dropped her first song in three years, Morgan Wallen did some self-reflection on new album I’m the Problem, and JIN of BTS unveiled his second solo EP — and those are just a few of several high-profile new music releases closing out the second full week of May.

And of all the fresh tracks that emerged this week, Billboard wants to know your favorite. But first: a recap. Recorded for the upcoming Smurfs movie soundtrack, Ri’s long-awaited return to the studio finds the Fenty mogul finding camaraderie on the dance floor with a song titled “Friend of Mine.” She last dropped a song in 2022 — “Lift Me Up” for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever — and though the new single is far from the full-fledged album follow-up to 2016’s Anti that fans have been wanting for years, the song expertly doubles as a family-friendly tune and a club-ready banger.

Outside of Smurf Village, this week also yielded the release of one of the year’s most highly anticipated country albums: I’m the Problem, Wallen’s behemoth 37-track effort that follows up 2023’s One Thing at a Time. The expansive project features collaborations with Big Loud label-mates HARDY and ERNEST, Eric Church, and — marking the “Last Night” singer’s very first time working with a female artist — Tate McRae.

Plus, the solo work JIN started on November’s Happy EP reverberates on his new 7-track set, Echo, which comes nearly a year after the K-pop idol became the first of his BTS bandmates to be discharged from the South Korean military after an 18-month obligatory service period. Avicii, Sebastian Yatra and Rico Nasty also all dropped bodies of work this week, while rising stars Lola Young and Laufey both came in hot with new singles.

But which of those releases is your favorite? That’s up to you. Tell Billboard which new song or album you’re rocking with the most this week by voting in the poll below.
