‘Cult Of The Lamb’ takes on The Met Gala in viral video
A fan has used hit game Cult Of The Lamb as inspiration for a number of outfits that wouldn’t look out of place at The Met Gala.
Last night (May 5) a number of celebrities, actors and musicians attended The Met Gala, an annual high fashion fundraiser held for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in Manhattan. It’s widely regarded as the world’s most prestigious fashion event.
This year’s theme was Superfine: Tailoring Black Style and The Met Gala 2025 saw Jenna Ortega wear a dress made entirely of rulers while Lorde’s outfit was an “easter egg” with “more to be revealed”.
However during the event, Cult Of The Lamb’s X account reshared a video made by fashion TikToker Vico Casden, who had created a number of high fashion looks inspired by the hit video game. “MET GALA THEME – CULT OF THE LAMB,” they wrote alongside the video, which has racked up more than 100 thousand views.

A Cult Of The Lamb-themed met gala would go so hard tho,” replied one fan. “This is too good. I wish I could dress as the Plimbo outfit but it’s just so hot here so I would feel like I’m in an air fryer,” said another. “Cult Of The Lamb? More like Cult Of The High Fashion,” added a third.
Casden originally made the video in August last year and followed it up with a part two in October. However at the time, he did admit that he hadn’t actually played the game.
Last week, Cult Of The Lamb’s publisher revealed that someone in Vatican City bought a copy of the twisted roguelike game, one day before the funeral of Pope Francis. “Shout out to the one brave soul. The personal inner struggle that has to be going on right now is unfathomable,” Devolver Digital added.
In other news, Microsoft has announced that a remastered version of classic Xbox game Gears Of War will finally be available on PlayStation later this year.
