NME Screams to show ‘Final Destination Bloodlines’ at special preview event
In partnership with Warner Bros. UK
NME Screams, an especially spooky spin-off from our regular preview series NME Screens, will show Final Destination Bloodlines, the latest instalment in the beloved horror franchise, in London on May 12. Find out how to get free tickets below.
Creating exclusive film and TV experiences for NME‘s millions of readers in print, online and social media – NME Screens was launched in March 2023, and has since hosted sold-out screenings of Amy Winehouse biopic Back To Black, Wes Anderson’s offbeat sci-fi comedy Asteroid City, acclaimed social satire Saltburn, noughties New York indie doc Meet Me In The Bathroom, sexy, stylish drama Challengers, Bong Joon-ho’s genre-bending sci-fi Mickey 17 and more.
Next up is Final Destination Bloodlines, the sixth chapter in the gory supernatural horror series. The follow-up to 2011’s Final Destination 5 stars Kaitlyn Santa Juana as Stefani Lewis alongside Teo Briones, Owen Patrick Joyner and Gabrielle Rose. Late horror icon Tony Todd, who died last year at the age of 69, will return posthumously as William Bludworth in his final-ever film role.
“Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefani heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all,” reads the official logline. When the first trailer for Final Destination Bloodlines was released in March, it racked up more than 178.7million views in 24 hours breaking a record previously set by 28 Years Later.
Taking place at Everyman King’s Cross in London on Monday, May 12, the NME Screams event comes ahead of the film’s official release two days later. Doors will be open from 6.15pm and the film starts at 6.30pm. Exclusive NME merch will be on offer and tickets are free, available now via Fixr.
‘Final Destination Bloodlines’ is released in UK cinemas on May 14
